The Partnership for A Safer Lake Countyis a group of over 30 organizations and individuals committed to ending abuse of all forms in Lake County. The Partnership is a group of over 30 organizations committed to creating a multi-faceted human abuse network that will combat child abuse, elder abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, LGBTQ crimes, domestic violence, and more.
We are a community of organizations and individuals committed to ending violence in Lake County through public awareness, coordination of services, and advocacy.
We envision a county that is inclusive, respectful and safe for all people.
The group that founded The Partnership for a Safer Lake County believed that Lake County did not need another non-profit. The Partnership for a Safer Lake County is thus not a 501c3 organization and operates under a steering committee that is led by co-chairs as opposed to a board of directors. A Safe Place is the Partnership’s fiscal sponsor and has applied for (and successfully received) grant funding to cover some of the expenses the Partnership has incurred and will continue to incur in furthering its mission.
